Topic Research

The topic I will do more brainstorming and research on for my class project is. What does this work reflect about its historical, social, political and/or economic context? You may focus on race, class, power, cultural values and beliefs, historical events, the author’s biography, gender, psychology, etc. My key elements would be introduction, evidence, and conclusion maybe some examples and some facts. I am choosing this topic for my project because it has a wide variety an big area I can discuss and do research on. I don't know exactly how I am going to go about creating my project. I usually write a bunch of ideas done on paper or type it out then I think what I kind of want to say for my key elements. Then I start finding evidence and research on what I am writing about. After that I start to mess around with the order of how my paper will flow, then finally I type it all out and do corrections at the end before I submit it. I think I might use some outside sources not many to help support and better understand the historical, social, political and or economic part of the text.

  1. Hey Timothy, I think your headed in the right direction. I agree that it easier to write a paer once finding the right evidence. That's the approach I take is to find the evidence before hand so I know where and how im going to layout the work. If you ever get stuck while writing one of the best things you can include is the author's background along with what may have influenced the author to write in a certain style or how the author came to write the stories you plan on including. Good luck man look forward to reading it.
